By booking any service with Sonneblom Produksies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
1.1 A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit (where applicable) has been received.
1.2 No date or time will be reserved until the booking has been confirmed.
1.3 All bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Payments
2.1 A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment or production date.
2.2 The remaining balance is due on or before the agreed delivery date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Failure to make payment may result in delays to the delivery of photographs, videos, digital files, or other products.
2.4 Once editing or post-production has commenced, payments made are non-refundable.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
3.1 Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled booking may have the deposit transferred to another available date.
3.2 Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled booking may result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit.
3.3 If Sonneblom Produksies is unable to fulfil a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be offered either:
- a full refund of any monies paid; or
- the option to reschedule to the next available date.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Arrive on time for the scheduled session.
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Obtain any required permits or permission for filming or photography.
- Ensure that all participants are available and cooperative during the session.
Sonneblom Produksies cannot be held responsible for delays or interruptions caused by the client, venue management, suppliers, or other third parties.
5. Photography & Videography
5.1 Sonneblom Produksies will apply professional skill, creativity, and care throughout every production.
5.2 While every reasonable effort is made to capture important moments, specific poses, expressions, events, or images cannot be guaranteed.
5.3 Final results may be affected by factors beyond our control, including lighting conditions, weather, venue restrictions, equipment limitations, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Editing & Creative Style
6.1 Editing style, colour grading, and overall creative direction remain at the professional discretion of Sonneblom Produksies.
6.2 Minor revisions may be included where agreed in the selected package.
6.3 Extensive revisions, re-editing, or additional editing requests may be subject to additional charges.
7. Copyright & Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Sonneblom Produksies retains the copyright to all photographs, videos, and creative content produced.
- Clients receive usage rights as specified in their chosen package or written agreement.
- Clients may not sell, alter, redistribute, or claim ownership of any content without prior written permission from Sonneblom Produksies.
9. Privacy & POPIA
Your privacy is important to us.
Sonneblom Produksies will not publish, display, or share photographs, videos, or personal information without your written consent, except where permission has been granted through our POPIA Consent Agreement or where required by law.
10. Music Videos
10.1 Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights or licences to any music supplied for their production.
10.2 Sonneblom Produksies accepts no responsibility for copyright infringement or licensing claims relating to music selected or supplied by the client.
11. VHS & VHSC Digitisation
While every reasonable care is taken when handling media:
- VHS and VHSC tapes naturally deteriorate with age.
- Existing damage may affect the quality of the recovered footage.
- Sonneblom Produksies cannot guarantee complete recovery of damaged or deteriorated recordings.
- We accept no liability for data loss resulting from ageing, damaged, or defective media.
12. Equipment Failure & Force Majeure
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, accidental data corruption, illness, injury, extreme weather, power outages, or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control, Sonneblom Produksies’ liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the affected service.
13. Limitation of Liability
Sonneblom Produksies shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions, or losses arising from:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Venue restrictions
- Power failures
- Internet outages
- Government regulations
- Acts of God
- Third-party service providers
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
14. Client Conduct
Sonneblom Produksies reserves the right to terminate any booking or session without refund if any employee or representative is subjected to abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.
